About me

Throughout medical school and residency, Dr Humiston pursued a standard allopathic education. Though, he always had the goal of using that background to find a better way to treat illness, including alternative therapies that would have the same end result without introducing artificial solutions masking disease.

“My approach to medicine is the restoration of normal functions and physiology. This is called functional medicine, and is accomplished by determining the actual causes of disease and then applying the best known methods for treating and correcting these conditions to bring patients back as closely as possible to normal, healthy physiology.”
