About me
Born in Romania, Dr. Dumitrescu has lived in the United States since 1990. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Austin with an honors degree in Philosophy and Religion and attended medical school at University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. While in medical school, he discovered his passion for musculoskeletal, spine and sports medicine. He went on to complete his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, followed by an Interventional Spine/Pain Management fellowship under Charles Aprill, MD, also in New Orleans.
